Supper Club: Velvet Pumpkin Sachets

Join Amy Potter for the October Supper Club at the Middleburg Community Center Makers Space creating beautiful, and fragrant, velvet pumpkins!  Add a little Fall magic to your home with beautiful velvet pumpkin sachets! In this workshop Amy will lead the group in making three hand-sewn (no experience necessary!!) pumkins adorned with a real pumpkin stem and stuffed with aromatic, fragrant spices to naturally scent the home! 

In all of Amy's workshops, she cultivates a supportive, fun, and inspired environment of creative exploration! She has one basic rule: no self-criticism! We are all creatives at heart and each of us expresses that creative heart in unique ways! The very act of creating IS the point, what we make is just a beautiful by-product of self-expression. So have fun, explore, make a fantastic mess....it's part of cultivating your creative soul!

In this workshop, participants will:

• Make and take home 3 velvet pumpkin saches 
• Recieve guided instruction on how to sew and craft velvet pumkin saches
• Learn about several aromatic herbs, like cinnamon, clove, and fennel used to scent the sachets
• Enjoy a delicious seasonal supper, with wine & beer  available for purchase (dietary restrictions can be accomodated)

Additional supplies may be purchased, if you chose to make more than three pumkpins.

Class is limited to 16 participants and must have a minimum of 8 participants to fill. 

Workshop cost: $77 

*Two discounted 'Helper' Tickets will be available for $44 for participants who would offer their help in setting up/breaking down. They must be availablable 30 mins prior to class and 30-40 mins after class to help clean up.

Class will be held in the Makers Space located on the third story (up two flights of stairs!) of the Middleburg Community Center. Unfortunately, it is not ADA accessible at this time, but please check back as we will be offering other workshops in the future that are.
