About the event
Join us at the beautifully renovated  Makers Space on the third floor of the Middleburg Community Center* to learn the basics of starting your vegetable garden indoors with horticulturist Katie Wolfe of Virginia Citrus LLC.   Katie will cover what types of veggies do best to start indoors, how to mix proper soil, watering techniques, as well as when and how to plant outdoors. The workshop will include one hour of guided instruction as she walks you through preparing your own seed trays (2 trays/156 seedlings) of various vegetables including: various tomatoes, peppers, okra, pumkins, and more, followed by a thirty minute Q & A with refreshments for all your gardening questions!Â
The Q & A will also be open to participants of the Growing Mircogreens Workshop immediately following which is offered at a discounted rate to the Seedling participants! So regsiter for both and leave with lots of garden magic!!Â
If you'd like to pay by check or cash, please send me an email to make arrangements.
