About the event

Join horiticulurist, Katie Wolfe (Virginia Citrus LLC), at the beautifully renovated Makers Space on the third floor of the Middleburg Community Center* for a workshop in growing your own microgreens at home!  Microgreens are young seedlings of edible vegetables and herbs. Unlike larger herbs and vegetables that take weeks or months to grow, microgreens can be harvested and eaten a week to 10 days after the cotyledon — a part of the embryo within the seed — leaves have developed. These little gems are nutrient dense and filled with life giving prana. Katie will walk you through cultivating your own tray of microgreens to enjoy at home!

This class can be registered for on its own or at a discounted price for those attending Katie's Seed Starting Workshop immediatly preceeding the Microgreens class. Come early for some refreshments and a Veggie Garden Q & A with Katie!

If you'd like to pay by check or cash, please send me an email to make arrangements.
